Summary
This album is a compilation of short tracks from "Melrose", "Optical Race" and "Lily On The Beach" with two non-album tracks thrown in. It is representative of the group's more recent tendency to fill albums with short 'tunes', rather than the almost symphonic compositions of the 1970s. The tunes are crisp and faultless - if slightly clinical - and it is probably this quality which makes many fans prefer their "Virgin years".
